C.E.R.T. Pictures of the 24 July 2008 Disaster Drill

On Thursday, 24 July 2008, the Woodbridge Township Community Emergency Response Team conducted a "Building Collapse Search and Rescue" Disaster Drill.  The drill was held at the Woodbridge Department of Health and Human Services, 2 George Frederick Plaza.

Woodbridge C.E.R.T. wishes to thank and recognize Mr. Dennis Green and all members of his staff at the Department of Health and Human Services for allowing us the use of the facilities and all of the support they have give us in the past.  A special thanks goes to Ms. Maryann Severino, the Health Department/C.E.R.T. coordinator for all of her graciousness and cooperation in ensuring C.E.R.T. has access to the facilities.

A special thank you also goes to our volunteer "victims" in the drill.  These young citizens of Woodbridge, and family members of the team members, helped us learn about how to search and rescue people is a building in danger of collapsing. Based on their comments, we believe they had a lot more fun during the drill than the team members did!
